Learn Spanish, Travel Spanish! is an attempt to chronicle a journey from absolute zero to fluency in Spanish. Our hope in relating this story is that we can help someone else in their decision to learn Spanish and to avoid the pitfalls and dead-ends that we came up against. And no, neither of us is fluent (not yet!), but Sherry is determined and on the road and I’m …well, I’m getting started.
At this point, Sherry considers herself to be an intermediate. This post and those that follow will tell you why we chose Spanish, what we’ve done so far to learn, and what our plans are for continuing.
